The new AVR-X2400H and AVR-X1400H combine enhanced theatre performance with HEOS multiroom music

The new AVR-X2400H follows in illustrious footsteps: the AVR-X2300W from which it has been developed won not only the EISA award for Best HT Receiver 2016-2017, but also both the 2016 What Hi-Fi? Award for Best Home Cinema Receiver in its price category and the 2016 What Hi-Fi? Readers' Award.

Encompassing all the winning features of its predecessor, the AVR-X2400H now gains even greater ability for both home theatre and music use, including the ultra-precise Audyssey MultEQ XT calibration and set-up system, complete with Denon's new Audyssey MultEQ Editor app to allow the user to fine-tune its settings. It also includes HEOS multiroom music streaming, allowing it to form the heart of a whole-house audio system.

Launched alongside the AVR-X2400H, the AVR-X1400H is designed to bring much of the same technology and flexibility down to an even more affordable price. It has full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility and 4K video capability, not to mention Bluetooth network music and HEOS wireless multiroom.

With a maximum of 145W per channel, the AVR-X1400H still has more than enough power to deliver the full immersive Dolby Atmos/DTS:X effect, while six HDMI inputs give plenty of connectivity options for modern playback devices.
